How is Male Breast Reduction Performed with VASER Liposuction?

What Type of Anesthesia is Used? Can Gynecomastia Recur?

Preparation Before Gynecomastia Surgery
Before undergoing male breast reduction surgery, the following precautions should be taken:
Herbal teas, vitamins, and blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin) should be discontinued approximately 7–10 days before surgery. If you regularly take prescribed blood thinners, you should inform your doctor.
If general anesthesia will be used, you must fast before the procedure as instructed by your surgeon.
Smoking and alcohol consumption should be avoided.
After surgery, you will need to wear a medical compression garment for approximately 2–3 weeks, as recommended by Op. Dr. Ercan Demiray. The medical team will provide this garment after the procedure.
Will There Be Scars After Male Breast Reduction Surgery?
Thanks to modern techniques, traditional open surgery is often unnecessary. Instead, VASER or laser devices are used.
A very small incision is made to insert the thin cannulas used by these devices. Through this incision, ultrasonic or laser energy is delivered to dissolve the fat or glandular tissue. As a result, visible scarring is usually minimal or absent.
